Hamster babies in a shoebox (Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside)

Hamster babies in a shoebox (Daily Prompt: Inside)

They needed to have their bedding changed, so they hung out inside the shoebox for a little while. Mom hamster was there too at times, but she’s not shown here, she was being held at the moment.

    • This is one of their cutest stages – when they’re old enough to be held (and you can hold a bunch at the same time, squee!!), but still young enough to all live together with Mom. Another fun part is when they first start opening their eyes. One of the litter (barely noticeable here), came out a pale grey colour, and we were wondering if she’d have red eyes or not (she got black ones).
